My sister is a freelancer with an assignment for the new women's sport mag. She has a couple of subjects already representing certain age ranges and sports. She has an ultra-marathoner and triathlete so she was interested in getting someone with an AR backgorund but agreed an orieenteer or cross country skier would be interesting. To balance the participants she is looking for looking for a 50+ female who has (grown okay) kids. Sorry I didn't talk to her sooner before the profile was already limited (I know there are some good under-50 F on AP) but if there is anybody interested or with a suggestion shoot me an email or post a response.
Sandy Fillebrown - F50+, 2 kids (one in college, one in high school), does AR, and beats up on all us <50 women on a regular basis. Does all this with only one good knee.
And the good knee is questionable. Sandy would be a great choice.
For the article, it should read "with one knee tied behind her back."

photo of Sandy working results and running the whole show at the water gap this weekend.
Hi all,
The editor liked Sandy's story. However, they want to save her piece for a separate profile. For the original story, they have switched gears and are looking for an orienteer/adventure racer with young kids. The editor wants to find someone who is a full-time mother/athlete with little ones racing around.
I'll keep you posted on Sandy and let me know if any one comes to mind with young kids. Thx. Nicole (Rich's sister)

Does the requirement for little ones (how little anyway?) modify the desired 50+ age? Also, I'm going to assume "little ones racing around" doesn't imply that the children must also participate - adventure races don't allow young children, even younger teenagers, do they?
