Discussion: Can you allow friends to view private notes?

Or are they completely private? Essentially, I would like everyone to be able to see my notes and descriptions, but only allow friends to see some extra details which I'm not letting everyone see. There could be some sort of other solution to what I mentioned, like filtering a description as you write it or something like that I've missed. Or is this just a ridiculous concept?

These are completely private. I suppose that could be made configurable (not a ridiculous concept), but as of right now there is no option for that.

Give your friends your password and let them log in as you to read the notes.
