You can set it up to automatically match and increase over someone elses bid by a set increment up to a max amount. That way you don't have to keep manually raising your bid. If your max is higher than the other guys, it will stop at that point.

An 'ahh' moment...the solution. Have not been to eBay in years. Maybe last time was to buy 5 Casio 30 split watches JJ linked me to - something like $85 total - sold 2 for $30 ea, still have 2. Thanks, maybe I'll go back now (user name/password freshly reincarnated as well). A lost time, save dollars titration - could have bought on Amazon already for around $140 (bought the one I lost for $125 new).

And apparently I am on ebay too much :-( as if! Anyhow the buy it now option takes some "stress" out of the equation. Good luck with a new FR.
