That seems like a good reasonable pace. Congratulations on the 5000m piece! Was this your longest of the fall season?

I'm enjoying watching from the sidelines. I SHOULD be rowing too. I plan to begin soon. Now that I'm in the M70+ age group, I'm interested in our Chicago Indoor Rowing Champs in February. Last year there were no older competitors, so the age-group record is still available.

Longest and one of the relatively few. Now I feel like a nap. I'm still 64 for rowing (and for other purposes), but turn 65 for orienteering on New Year's day.

The guy who holds the Lightweight 70-74 record looks like a formidable competitor. You had better hope he doesn't bulk up.

:-)

Well that record was set in 2004...so I presume by the time we row in 2012 he'll be well clear of my age group. But still, I'd like to put up a decent time.
