Ouch :) or rather touché.

That being said, I would perhaps send Land of Vikings over first :)

I can't really think of any other maps that I truly regretted. Maybe sections of Le Revard....

I've already submitted the 2007 map of Catalina State Park.

There is a map called Las Lagunas somewhere between Madrid and Alicante that almost entirely covered with waist-high spiky grass. It is probably the most worthless piece of terrain I have ever seen mapped.

Damn, too late to propose Lynn Woods for course of the year.

You just reminded me of a jungle I ran in somewhere in Portugal too. Awful awful awful.

And Latvia! Oh god Latvia...

Indian Harbour in Nova Scotia (well the 300m along the coast was awesome). The rest? well it was green or yellow with green stripes.

I could think of a few NS maps to nominate! The terrain could be fine but the maps are so so out of date. Especially after Juan (8 years ago) - all of a sudden you'd end up in unmapped hurricane damage and it would take half an hour to thrash out to the trail.

Also, many maps don't even have green on them since then you'd just have to update it - far better just to leave everything as white and let the competitors deal with it!

Send in your maps! They posted the Catalina map and say that now they're going to try to revive the blog.
