Impressive run. Pin-punching would clearly have made you five seconds slower, even if you hadn't got stuck in the queue to punch the second last control :)

The rain might have slowed him down, too. Especially if he had to leave his glasses on the refreshments table because they had become useless.

Very nice run! It would have been fun to join you guys for the re-run. I am really curious if my time would be faster or slower this time around.

We should rerun more of these mass start races; it was tremendous fun, and it would have been pleasant to race against you. It sounds like our conditions were more favorable than race day, so I suspect you would have run faster two days ago.
