Yep, nurse sharks - not very big, about 1-2m long. The other two things are dolphins playing around and an eagle ray.

Very depressing to see the state of the corals there...mostly dead or deformed. The Elkhorns used to be huge colorful structures, where you could swim under their branching arms. And with that coral infrastructure, came a profusion of tropical fish...now almost all exterminated by predators in the absence of protective coral galleries. Just another example of how our world is being changed by Global Warming...

Did you have a chance to find out something about the current health of the local reef?

I especially liked the video of the two dolphins. Are they Parent and Youngster? And what is your pulse down there? Your breathing is real slow! I did not know you could scuba dive, in fact, what is it you CAN'T do?? Happy Thanksgiving in Belize ;-)!
