With AP showing 8 confirmed and many unconfirmed entries at APOC in a few weeks, then why does the official press release show only one person from the US and 2 from Canada?

Are others competing? I would like to put together a US or NA relay team if so.

Maybe because only three of the people listed as confirmed on Attackpoint are North Americans?

I think you're out of luck since that press release would appear to mean dtdo and I are the only other North Americans attending (they'd be counting her as Canadian since I handled our registration, I guess) and we didn't register for the relay.

BTW, I suppose this means you'll be the US representative at the APOC secretariat meeting so see you there if not at the races.

Copselover, how's your arm this year and are you looking forward to playing under Lou Piniella? Is Kerry going to the bullpen and did you pay too much for Soriano?

I thought Randy was going.

Reason #27 I love this sport: APOC will play host to 27 Kazkhs, 4 Lithuanians, and exactly 1 American (yes, me). Maybe I will run the whole relay myself - how's that for xenophobic yankee hegemony? Seriously, wish me luck in avoiding the snakes.

PS: I guess I just could have looked at the locations of those committed - but bothering everyone seemed like a lot more fun.

PPS: Randy isn't going.
