Is there one anywhere? Just trying to see if there's anything exciting going on in the Czech Republic this Spring.

As far as I can tell, the calendar is not out yet, which is really annoying if you are trying to make plans for next year. The IOF seems to have its head up its butt again...

I think the most interesting thing going on in the Czech Republic in springs is the Prague Easter 3 days. You might be able to find their website.

I would love to but it's not great practice for WOC 2008! If someone gives me some money I really want to go to Slovenia in 2007 though!

Nice...but which ones are WREs?

Apparently the entries with the little graphic of what I believe is a biplane flying in front of a cloud. I'd criticise the choice of graphic if I had a better idea what image would say WRE.

Jon, I am not sure that's accurate, since Tiomila has a little biplane with a cloud and, being a relay, it definitely is not a WRE. On the same note, does anyone know if any days of the JK are supposed to be WREs in 2007?

I think that the biplane means it's not in the UK.

Most of the non-UK ones listed tend to be WREs though, and are all pretty good quality.

The JK is a WRE (middle and long days anyway). http://www.jk2007.org.uk/

Hmmm... leaving aside the obvious meaning of the plane symbol (which I had to squint at muchly to decide it was a plane), I should have guessed that the event in Venice I noticed probably wouldn't be a WRE, despite the awesome route choice complexity of street-O in Venice based on the maps I've seen.

There's a legend for all the weird symbols at the bottom of this page.

Oooh, the Silesia Grand Prix looks like a top option - anyone else considered this one?

That was the OUOC tour last year. There are plenty of links on their website to maps/photos etc, judging by the photos there for this year it looks a bit more open/rocky/steep than the terrain from last year. but a well organised event, quite near a WOC embargoed area (one of 11...). Don't think this year's competition was world ranking
