Courses are officially on for tomorrow afternoon. The start window is from 1600 to approximately 1730. However, we are trying to avoid starting B Meet folks at the same time as WPFG runners. So...here's the deal by course.

If you want to run Red, starts will open up around 1645.
For Green, about 1655.
For Brown, about 1614.
If you would like to run Orange or Yellow, any time after 1600 is fine, as these are not championship courses.

Apologies for the abbreviated starts, but we're working with the constraints of our school day, as well as the amount of daylight at this time of year.

Please keep in mind that since this meet is on West Point proper, you will need photo id to get in the gate. If you are asked why you are coming on post, just let the gate guard know that you are attending the orienteering competition.

Parking for the event is at the Post Exchange/Commissary parking lot. The easiest way to get there is to come in the Stoney Lonesome Gate (the gate off of 9W). Follow the road from the gate up the hill and take a left at the first intersection, then stay left around the curve to end up in the parking lot. There will be signs for the PX pointing that way as well. Starts are from the baseball fields directly next to the parking lot - finish will be there as well.

We hope to see some of you out there tomorrow despite the inconveniences!

Good work making this happen! It must have been a right hassle...

If I'm feeling sprightly and can sneak out of work a wee bit early, I'll be there!

Are there any closures on major roads attendees are likely to use (PIP, 9W, 6, 17, 87, ...)?

218 from Cornwall is closed (but practically always is). Other than that, all major roads are open to the best of my knowledge. The damage - at least in our immediate area - was pretty minimal.

Are results posted somewhere?
