Swampfox:
Yellow Pine (new map), dry, sunny, warm (record breaking?), mild breeze, 5.3 kms, 13 posts

The mass-started course (all courses at this Daze feature mass starts, which of course are the finest kind) started low and finished high, in a test of who could best manage oxygen uptake under severe thin air conditions, and the orienteer who answered the test best once again was the long legged Martin Sacher. One person said: "he has an unnatural advantage," and another person said, "I bet he can't even see the sage at his feet, he probably doesn't even know it's there." A third person--possibly an employee of a certain large S&P 500 firm sporting 3 identical initials said: "Let's slow him down with some abduction tape windings around his legs!"

Also worthy of note was that Gavin Wyatt-Mair somehow managed to make his appearance in a vehicle bearing NY state license plates. Something about emergency hurricane evacuations, is what we heard.

1 Martin Sacher 41.51
2 Andrei Karpov 43.04
3 Roland Gyssler 44.44
4 JP Ingebrigtsen 45.23

16 Gavin Wyatt-Mair 65.15
17 Janet Tryson 73.06
18 John Pascal 76.11
19 John Murray 77.01
20 Steve Dornseif 77.27

22 Sheryl Lehman 104.01

Their production will be second to none.

Soupbone:
Nice new map at 1:10000 scale. Just sad that the famous Yellow Pine campground was closed and had no big Pine trees due to the pine beetle.
