start counting controls and mistakes in minutes. Put valuest to that formula and it will give your score. example: you have taken 550 controls and you have made 35 minutes mistakes. your score will be 550^1.14/(3.14+35) = 34.8845221
So if you are already 34 years old you are done. If not, you need to continue. Old farts has disadvantage here -but on the other hand they should be experienced enough to not make any mistakes at all.

What about Thierry - if he accepted the challenge he could probably count his mistakes in seconds and still win ;)
