Discussion: orienteering near Dubrovnik, Croatia?

I'll be in Dubrovnik September through December. Does anyone know of orienteering opportunities near Dubrovnik (or easily accessible from Dubrovnik) this fall? Or events farther away that are worth travelling to? I've found a few webpages, but they are in Croatian and the events don't seem to be near Dubrovnik.

I have an orienteering friend who lives in Zagreb, Croatia (who has done mapping in the US). He might be able to help you. If you would like to send me your email address, I can send it to him with your question. BTW, Venice is a bit far from Dubrovnik, but there is an orienteering event there (standard length courses for each age group) in November, through all the narrow streets and over bridges, etc. Apparently it has been held annually for nearly 30 years, and now draws more than 3000 people.
