The Canada Cup Elite Series has been updated with the three WCOC races. You can find scoring for the individual races, plus the updated overall, at the COC Results page. COCs next weekend score 40 point for a win!

All 6 Elite Series races in the Yukon are now in the books. You can find individual race scores and updated overall scores on the COC website!

Will Critchley has a stranglehold on the Series after a steady week, all races in the top 5, 2 of them wins. Robbie Anderson catapulted to second place after placing 2nd in 4 of the races, plus one 3rd place. Brian May moved up to third after his COC Gold in the Middle.

Louise Oram dominated the women's results both weekends, but Carol Ross is not far behind. Katherine Scheck holds on to 3rd thanks to steady top results throughout.

Next up on the Cup schedule is the Long distance at Barebones in September.

GVOC is really showing their elite strength as a club, but who would have thought EOOC would be in second place???

Nev, does this mean EOOC gets upgraded in your Jukola club rankings? Claire & I could two-man it.

No and no. Even if you two recruited Jari Kurri, Esa Tikkanen, Reijo Ruotsalainen and Janne Niinimaa to go along with Juha Metsaranta.

Is Critchley going to the Canada Cup finals this fall in Ottawa?

Heck, Ottawa would be in a solid second place - if not better - if two girls named Kemp had been able to participate in the Yukon.
However, could have's and would have's count for nothing.
Kudos to ONB (or is it Fundy Falcons) who are well placed overall based on the scores of only three competitors!
I'm impressed with how much interest there is in this series. Now how about next year a junior series, a masters' series (35+) and especially a veterans' series (55+)
See Ottawa duke it out with EOOC and GVOC in the latter!!!

The Junior/Masters and Veterans are great ideas Gord, but some extra help in tabulating results would be needed. Any volunteers in those categories to help make the numbers dance would be welcomed!

not to forget FWOC in the veteran's !!

@ Nev-Monster, Critchley has already signed up. I'm wondering what excuses the other top 10 ranked guys have for not yet signing up to challenge Will for the Cup in Ottawa's nice technical Carp Ridge terrain.
