Like. Especially the 'Travel' section describing how great Cooma is.

it will be around stanthorpe so its going to be farm land and bush with lots of granite. The area around there is really good if its near the wilmots farm land. Think APOC 2000. One event which is 50mins is spur gully with non granite rock and very very fast. no grass on the ground.

the events in brisbane are going to be a sprint and i think at toohey forest.
ask BOMB for details

prologue - Wilmots waterhole, Day 1- Brooklands, Day 2- new map near Leyburn state Forest, Day 3- Dalmoak?

3 good granite maps, 1 intricate spur gully map so should be decent terrain.....I hope

I like the idea of returning to stanthorpe. Cascades at all?

cascades is a mid week event

Correct - the 3 granite maps at easter are all much faster than cascades, but still heaps of rock detail. mostly forested also. the prologue is going to be granite - similar to WA, but I don't think we can manage to get the grass quite that low.
cascades gets a run mid week.
the second weekend has a sprint double on sat (with chasing start final), and a long mass start on sunday. working on some extras for elites for the second weekend.

A mid week event at Cascades means the real decision is whether to stay for the weekend events ;-). Not serious, its just that Cascades is one of those top 5 maps in Australia in my book. I think I'll be making the trip.
BTW, after this years Oceania there will be a new entrant in the top 5 list.
