here are some recent photos from our Adventure Running Kids Mud Run. We took the approach suggested in that link above. ie., take 170 photos and hope that 7 or 8 work out. :-)

A few fuzzy ones but tried to capture the gnarly aspects of our sport. (note: there are no orienteering pajama photos here)

If I may make a suggestion of the Mud run photos. The shadows and spots of sun are tough for the auto exposure on the camera to sort out, so many of the faces are dark.
If a flash could be used (fill flash) it would improve these shots dramatically.
And of course, they could be fixed in Photoshop....
