Yeah, basically classic 180 degree error, but I noticed it pretty soon. I have no idea what happened, I guess 5 beats from max heart rate explains. While I was wondering & turning the guy who started 2 minutes after me passed, you can see him running in front of me. He was leading the race at that point. He made mistake at #7 and passed me again on the way to #8. We took different route for the long leg and he got away - he runs so much faster i couldn't follow no matter what. I don't think my choice was that much worse.
Note also how I lost streamers to remote start. The whole remote start thing wasn't made properly - start flag under a tree, not by optimal route, up to competitor how close he runs by.
Strange nav mistakes yesterday. When we drove to the event I turned wrong from out parking lot (two choices), lost 1 min there. Then I missed a ramp at Lohja, so I had to drive 10 km freeway trough some tunnels and turn around and drive same 10 km back. Then I lost streamers to remote start. And 15 sec 180 degree error. At finish I lost my emit card, searched it for a while, it was at info lost&found box. Strange day.
