Canada Cup races are really good way to promote national meets, upstage the events, and possibly make them more attractive to public, media and sponsors.
And all that with a bit of marketing and some event coordination. My next comment is what next? Does COF have plans how to utilize the name change and actually take advantage of that increased attractiveness of national races?
I hope after our federation changed name and logo, we will continue with the rebranding, and come up with a good marketing scheme for our current A Meets, as well as ... God forbid ... Here we go I said it, new formats, new race series, in order to increase attractiveness of the venues.
