Registration is now open for all of the events in the Canal Cities Orienteering Festival. This includes the 2011 US Classic Champs, the 2011 OUSA Convention, the 2011 Trail-O Champs, and the Canal Cities Challenge A Meet. The events take place in upstate New York from July 30 - August 7.

The central registration page can be found here.

Information on the Festival as a whole can be found here.

BTW - if when you're looking at the site and you'd like something that isn't there, please mention it to me. I've already added the dates of early / regular / late to the site. (They were in the registration area, but not easily seen otherwise).

There's a lot of great information but I'm having trouble finding the registration deadlines on the ccof site. I did find deadline dates here (towards the bottom of the page):

http://www.buffalo-orienteering.org/CCC.htm

Do those dates apply across the board?

Also, is it necessary to reserve a slot for the convention sessions? Specifically the Level 1 Coach Cert?

One issue for organizers to think about: When you create a website unique to an event (for example 2011CCOF.org) instead of just adding pages to an existing, permanent club website, then after the event, you usually stop paying for the site and it disappears. Please make plans to archive all information on permanent club websites, especially results! Many of us are often very frustrated by the loss of results and event info which could be used for reference.

I believe CCOF is using a free Google site which should be in existence as long as Google keeps hosting free websites. It's still a good idea to also copy Results over to the club website as an archive.

Registration deadlines are also listed on the CCOF Pricing page, below the table (under Important Dates).

Thanks for posting info - yes - the dates on the pricing overview apply to all events. You should only be registering once for all of the included events. (I suppose we could handle a change in registration if you decided you could make it to some part later on, but I hope that doesn't happen too often;-)

Website - We've got the domain name and the google site, but the point is well taken. I'll make sure one of the clubs takes ownership of the info when we're all done. (and since we put the year into the name, it really isn't useful for a later event)

The convention registration portion has a selector for the "course", and yes, if you want to be part of the lvl 1 coaching cert track, you should indicate this there. (Oh - I guess it is a course selector after all... -bada boom- I'll be here all week...)
