They had the qualifying for this today (actually using a pre-alpine middle distance course to qualify for a city sprint in Bern tomorrow!). Marc won the men's, looks like Sandra and Viktoria both had good runs for the women, especially Sandra. It was a WRE, by the way. Web site and results.

Sprint results: Men Women

Men's 3rd is a tie, even with tenth of a second timing. And, the gap to men's second is 0.7 seconds. Wow.

She registered as American, but I guess they didn't look closely at her registration form and just used the Swiss database where her personal infos are saved.
