Hello everyone,
ShUOC! (Sheffield University orienteering Club) are doing a sponsored hill climb to raise money for The Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Charity, and local Mountain Rescue teams.

As a club, we will be ascending Mt. Everest from sea-level (8848m) on Heroes hill in Sheffield (1km long, ~130m high). That's 68 ascents. We're hoping to do it as quickly as possible (10 hours maybe).

If you could take a look at our JustGiving page, and maybe even help us towards our target, it would be much appreciated!

ShUOC love, Nic

Just a bump - we're tackling Everest today, and we even have Everest-like conditions!
OK, not quite, but a couple of inches of snow have fallen overnight to make the descents more interesting!

More donation would be very much appreciated!
thanks,
mighty mighty ShUOC!

Thanks for all the donations, every penny is appreciated!
