As our part of "Orienteering Week in Canada" YOA is hosting three days of "O", starting with the Sprint last night, to be followed by a middle distance on Saturday and a Long distance on Sunday which will be our Yukon Championships. Three different maps. We had almost 60 out for the sprint. Results available here Because this is partially an urban area with high potential for controls to go missing we did not use SI but will do so on the weekend of course.

That's a lot more people than we're going to get together around here for Orienteering Week in Canada! (I didn't get the memo.)

GHO participated in OWIC last year but with the NAOC so close to the OWIC period it didn't seem feasible to do it again this year.

It is a great idea (started in Calgary) and I hope GHO participates again next year with a full sprint, middle and long club champs.
