Early registration for this year's Laramie Daze has gone out, but you can still register through August 16. After that, you will be entering something of a Twilight Zone and will be taking your chances.

But we've never turned anyone away so far, and given that we have maps that need to be put to use, we will do our best to accomodate anyone who shows up, so long as they are proffering sufficient amounts of cold cash.

And why not come out and experience for yourself the joys of driving of a newly re-paved stretch of I-80 (beneficiary of some of the Putting America Back To Work funding)? It's an almost unbeatable combination: high altitude orienteering in the Cowboy State and fresh asphalt too! ; )

Ooops--a correction to the above! According to the event information at the web site, there is no absolute entry deadline, and you can simply show up if you wish. The deadline applies to a guarantee of a pre-printed map, and the deadline of that is that entries must be postmarked by Aug 21.
