Swimming, aqua jogging, indoor rowing, biking, kick biking, roller skiing, roller skating, crosstraining... Here are some possibilities to maintain aerobic / anaerobic performance. Can you make any of these? And core strength is always a good investment what comes to healthy training days in future...

Swimming / biking / gore strength made it worse. Better have proper off/terassi/grill season now than burn all motivation with low key training. Spring 2011 is months away, resting couple of months now instead of desperate agua jogging will not do much harm after all.

Sorry to hear! i'm suffering from a sore Achilles tenden that doesn't get any better from playing football. I'm still hoping to meet up in the Finnish nigth chams - in the lost souls class.

My knee has taken me 19 months now, and I'm still no further than careful indoor biking and strength training. Weight went up 14 kg in 15 months - now I am down 15 kg again in 3-4 months just by will - to be prepared in case the knee gets better again some time, and not having to carry all that extra weight around. Next time I'd be more careful with the eating...

Tried unsuccesfully roller skating and roller skiing.

Bat chase has been best training method so far. High HR, low knee inpact.
