the one thing i've not started doing yet is really extending the time/distance that i am out running for. i'm probably getting some endurance fitness from the cycling, but i've maxed out at an hour for the running thus far.
i think i'll work towards putting in some longer distance once i've laid a good base and dropped a few more pounds..
good to see that you are getting some long distance training sessions in without adverse effects!!
yeah have to admit that the long runs are tough, would like to be pushing these out past 2 hours but not managed yet. Getting a bit niggly at the moment so perhaps the cross training approach you are taking is the right one!
