Just wondering if anyone knows what happened to this project as no new maps have been posted for over 3 months ever since Surebridge Mtn....Was it such a hard act to follow that he gave up?

I think it might be an out-of O-season project.

As TheInvisibleLog says, this is mostly an out-of O-season project, yes. But we are working on getting up a "consideration list" of maps with a description of each map based on all the feedback we have got. We've got around 100 maps on this list for now - not all with descriptions - and want to publish that list before we continue with map presentations. If you've got the patience to wait, there is a lot of good stuff coming :)

Thanks. The Plan is to start saving money now, retire at 55 and do it.

Having just turned 55, the plan here has been amended over the last two years to to 'keep saving money, retire at 60 and do it'. I suspect I am not alone.

As someone soon turning 70, my advice is...don't wait too long:

...Lastly, you who read; aye, you
Who this very line may scan:
Think of all you planned to do...
Have you done the best you can?
See! the tavern lights are low;
Black’s the night, and how you shrink!
God! and is it time to go?
Ah! the clock is always slow;
It is later than you think;
Sadly later than you think;
Far, far later than you think...
