I feel that the times for this day are not going to be very meaningful due to poorly hung markers. A marker early on (#2 for course 5) was hidden in a bush and many people lost time there. The last control was also hidden and the finish streamers didn't start until halfway to the finish line. I basically feel that all the courses on this day should have been voided.

With respect to Bill's comments. I lost 10 min at control #2 (others lost more!). Even though the flag was less than a metre in front of my nose, it was totally hidden by the thicket. The final control was also hidden. Another 2 min lost! And if that wasn't bad enough, I couldn't locate the finish chute. The course overall was excellent and very enjoyable, but sadly marred by two small but significant mistakes by the organizers. It should have been voided.

These 2 controls took 1.5 - 2 minutes of my time in spite of the confidence at locating the control sites where they suppose to be :( Course should be voided. Unfortunately nobody stepped and raised this issue in front of the organizers officially. Too many times I see these situations when oral complains from competitors are not taken as official to dismiss the course (I remember one control on Day 3 Blue-Red-Green course at PNWOF last year that was placed on the wrong feature). Shell we be so soft to organizers and other athletes who were luckier? I don't know... I still have mix of feelings at this.
