Discussion: Harriman O-event saturday

Hello!
We're two swedish runners who'd like to participate at the O-event in Harriman State Park on Saturday. Our problem is transportation to Silver Mine Lake, because we don't have a car. We're staying at a hotel on Manhattan, but we can travel to some place close to the event by bus or train and then maybe hitch a ride with someone.

I'm also interested in buying the Central Park O-map, if possible and maybe other maps close to New York City. Sprint maps etc.

Anyway, we arrive tomorrow afternoon (April 23rd) if the volcano ash cloud over Europe allows us to depart. My e-mail is: jonas.k.lindholm@gmail.com, I'm also at facebook.

Jonas, if worst comes to worst: Metro North Penn Station to Harriman, then cab $25. Make sure you print out the map to show the cabbie, they aren't used to taking people there and may not know which lake is Silvermine. Train is at 9:14, change in Secaucus.

I bring some Central Park maps when you make it to Silvermine on Saturday.
