Where exactly is this? How many hours from Sydney and what sort of terrain?

Looks cool, thanks for the links! Probably a bit too far to lure me away from Sydney, though...

i can vouch for the bakery, it was the most popular place in town when we stayed there for the oz champs. The pizza guy around the corner seems to know a thing or two on pizza recepes too. We went exploring in some of the town's surrounding bush and was way impressed with the terrain and rocks, you guys ARE the lucky country.

The bakery... for a long time an over-hyped franchise bakery masquerading as artisan craft. It was sold out to a pair of business mafia types, who went the cost cutting route. The locals learnt to go elsewhere. I understand things may have improved again since a recent change of management. The MBA types ran it down, created franchise operations elsewhere, contracted much of the pastry then sold it.

I wonder how many junior camps over the years have revolved around the bakery?
