US team had a mixed performance in the middle final races today.

Firstly, John did not end up finishing his A -final race due to an ankle injury. His ankle was hurt before the competetion and he got into an area of slash on his course. His ankle was taped beforehand, but he got unlucky and was too hurt to continue. He plans to race tomorrow, after resting all today.

Anna disqualified in her race with the unfortunately too familiar skipping a control using e-punching, because she put her thumb over control number 7 while running from 6, and ended up going straight on to 8. She's okay, and will be the lead off leg tomorrow in the women's relay.

Other races went well, Erin had a good race in the men's B, take a look at his splits, he starts out in 58th place on the 1st leg and steadily works his way up the standings. plus a really fast finish split. Kudos are in order.

Andy was dissapointed with his race today, he said he found it difficult to get moving out there. He would get on a route choice, find it too thick, and try another route , just to find it worse!! He still had a good result, and will be leading off the 2nd men's team on the morrow.

Franchesca seemed happy with her race, excluding a mistake on the 2nd control.

Mike proved me right with a blazing finish split ( not actually the same chute as yesterday, mostly the same but a little shorter) he didn't like his race, but had a good result regardless.

I would write more, but the line for internet is impatient.... good luck to all the runners tomorrow
