Lots of this terrain in Ontario so it is awesome that OOC is getting some mapped. So come out the Nation's capital next summer and check it out.

I don't think you can view those particular photos without a facebook account.
Please note that the photos were taken and posted by the person doing some of the field work on the possible long maps and the sprint map. They are his photos and his facebook account.
They are attractive photos for sure but as far as I know they were posted without the authority of the Ottawa Orienteering Club (which he didn't need) but the club probably would have asked him to be less specific about the location of the areas.
The OOC will be including those photos and other information on the COC 2010 website http://www.ottawaoc.ca/COC2010/ in the near future.
Plans for COC 2010 are coming along nicely. A real orienteering treat is in store for those who come to Ottawa next August.

You CAN view the photos on the linked page without a Facebook account. Just click on the link. I don't have a FB acct. and was able to see them.

Try this (worked for me in Firefox):
"right click" on the link and from the resulting menu, click on "Copy Link Location". From the Firefox File menu open a new tab. "right click" in the URL bar and select "paste". Then hit the "enter' key.

Hopefully the photos will soon go on the COC 2010 website. The problem is that they belong to the mapper and not myself nor any other member of the OOC...
