I look forward to hearing more....
I thought that you had it in the bag at mile 23!!! Like clockwork until then. Top effort, still a great time - well done!
Yep, we were enjoying the consistent mileing, but judging by the tv showing it looked pretty undulating late on, hence the wee drop off. Still a very respectable run!
Hope Rossco is OK......
Well done Jon! But bad luck for not quite getting 3 hours. Enjoy the rest of the week in NYC.
good stuff, well done Mr X!
3:02! Very well done, but what a nightmare time - now you'll HAVE to do it again.
...and, as you realised on Saturday afternoon, you've qualified for Boston now.
Well done but I was surprised you were not in Oxford on Saturday:) I guess New York is a bit further than Venice!
ngah ! beaten !
well done.
do you have to do sub 3 now though?
I thought I did - but I didn't
Jase, you need to run a marathon - undulation, schmundulation !
nice work Jon - enjoyed watching your progress online. NYM certainly seemed to have a sting in the tail.
Tough luck John but still a bloody good effort!!!
I'm sure with a better course you'd break it.
Great account - and a great effort! You'll be flying round the forests now :)
Great report Jon, and congratulations again. So....when is the next marathon then??
Well done Jon,
I can so feel the pain of those last miles. Nearly got me - fantastic effort - you deserved sub 3 more than me
Excellent time Jon, you must be delighted with that! Very well done. Enjoy having a rest for a bit - you'll need it.
Thanks everyone - not rushing to any hasty decisions just yet about whether I want to do another one!
I can recommend it as a pretty amazing experience though if anyone else is considering it.......
