Entry for the 9th World Rogaining Championships opens on the 1st of November 2009 for all entrants. See the event web site for precise details including lists of those with Pre Qualified but time limited entry opportunities.
Entry is open to all from the 1st of November 2009 however priority will be given to Pre Qualified from the 1st of November 2009 to the 15th December 2009. From the 15th December 2009 to 31st of January 2010 underrepresented countries and categories/classes will be given priority.
Pre Qualified could be described as a '...time limited wild card...' for past WRC Open Champions, class/category winners and placegetters at recent WRCs, and class/category winnersand placegetters at recent ERCs, NARCs, NZRs and ARCs. Refer to the event web site for exact details and lists of the Pre Qualified. IRF Councillors have been offerred a similiar place and an opportunity is available for competitive SV(+55) who are currently competivie in V class-see the web site for a detailed explanation.
If are interested or know of some one who may be Pre Qualified may ask that you contact them. Best efforts are been made to contact all rogainers including the Pre Qualified however some of the former Open WRCs are now 17 years in the past.
