Discussion: Last minute Billygoat directions

Always a bit behind the power curve these days, I'm just now looking up directions to get to the Billygoat. Looking at the map (and mapquest, etc), there doesn't seem to be an obviously efficient route. If anyone can outline the quickest and/or easiset route from, say, Hartford (I'm coming from eastern MA) to Rt 7 in Kent, in the next, oh, 7 or 8 hours, I'd be very appreciative. Thanks!

I took the 44-to-202-to-4-to-7 route from Hartford, and it took forever. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there are any better options. At least I can't see any...

we took I84 -CT4-CT118-US202-CT341 which was pretty good -- no claims on optimality

The search engines came up with the US44 but I wanted to get out of Hartford before I got off the highway
