Hello, I'm Paul. I am a senior at Abington Friends School in Jenkintown, PA. Coming up in May (May 11- May 31) is my senior independent project, where I get three weeks to do a fairly open-ended "learning experience."

I have been orienteering for about five years now and want to do a project involving orienteering. I was thinking of going to some country like Sweden where orienteering is really popular. I’m not sure what I want to do – whether its training with a pro, going to an orienteering school, or just doing lots of orienteering. I would need an adult mentor (possibly someone who could help me train or organize events I would go to) and a home to stay in.

This is basically a query to anyone reading this: do you have any contacts who could help me out? Anyone that you know that would be able to put me in touch with someone, help me plan out my project, or actually be a mentor? Any information would be helpful.

My deadline for having a project is December 15. ANY HELP would be appreciated. Email me at moocows76@aol.com, or just respond to this post. Thank you!

a less exotic and wonderful project would be to make an ocad map of your school grounds or a suitable park nearby and hold a sprint race... can't help, i'm afraid
