Discussion: JWOC area on Giro d'Italia TV coverage

The area for JWOC 2009 is near the end of Stage 4 of the Giro d'Italia (12th May). This is the first mountain -top finish, in the Dolomites.

The SBS TV coverage of the stage will be at 7:10 Wednesday morning and late Wednesday night, so it might be worth a look.

I drove up the road a week back. They have the event publisity out already.

Latter on up there were a couple of these.

I did spot one on the Giro coverage.
I don't know about the forest I did not go wandering looked pleasant enough from the road a bit steap in places.

That hill is just a little bit of a slope.

This is looking down the valley from the pass 15km further up.
