Is it just me, or does the feature allowing group owners to add members (by merely entering the persons username) neglect the fact that the new recruit may not want to be a member of that group? For example, I may add ken to "Warrior O" regardless of whether or not he wishes to be affiliated with my school's orienteering team.

I know it's stupid, I suppose I am just suggesting that the website only allow invitations to join. Sorry.. I thought I was having a good idea at the time.

Take your place in line...there's lots of suggested A/P "development" items ahead of yours. You can see the list by clicking the "development" button at the bottom of this page > and then click the "all items" button. There's also a button to allow you to formally submit your suggestion.

Seeing such a graphic display of the work it takes to maintain this site, makes me want to donate every time I see it.

I don't have a development button (that's only supposed to be available to those deemed serious users, correct?) though tacking "/development.jsp" onto the end of the url has always worked for me. I really want to donate, but don't own a credit card or checkbook.

There are currently only three suggested development items on the list.

kowski: your suspected pattern holds true for AP; the development url is:

http://attackpoint.org/development.jsp

See if it works, and add your suggestion.

Actually, there are far more than three.
