Tiomila 2009 site is down as I'm typing this, but hopefully there will be details there.

I've tried to put useful links on the Attackpoint Tiomila 2009 Event Listing

Spike's blog has some World of O links, here.

Or you could go directly to World of O

Eyewitness report:

I´m in Hässleholm right now, about 20KM from Tiomila after spending the night here with my club. Sun is shining but it has apparently been a cold night with frost showing on the ground. Weather will be the same for the whole weekend according to forecasts.

Time for breakfast - then off to the meet site...

I finally got the WebTV working. In Firefox, it made me install a windows media player plugin that didn't work---audio only---So I switched to IE7 and it seems to work.

Typing in the credit card was an experience---I couldn't read the Swedish, and there was no obvious way to change to English.

The live coverage won't work for Mac this year. Bummer!! :-( But I'm following the results as they come in. GO Tampereen Pyrinto 1 and OK Linne 2!

The online day-of-event web stuff isn't as good as previous years. World of O seems to be pretty good.

I paid for the WebTV but it isn't working for me. There is a continuous loop of the media player plugin for IE saying:

Buffering
Playing: 8 K bits/second
Optimized streaming experience...
Playlist: Playlist0

:(

(According to this speed test my download bandwidth is 3.30 Mbit/s)

Never mind, I can get the main broadcast, but not the GPS 'channel'.
