That was a very productive meeting! Glad you could all make it. I especially liked the brainstorming on how we could ratchet up the fun and participation. Hope you can all make the club picnic March 22.
Oh, and here is a link to the
DVOA forum we discussed. The most recent discussion about meet safety might be worth paying attention to. Also, a similar discussion is ongoing on the attackpoint discussion board as well.
I am glad I attended the meeting. It sounds like a lot of work but a lot of fun as well. I am going to be in Great Lakes Naval Base the weekend of March 22 to see my daughter graduate from basic training. Wish I could be there for the picnic.
Hi Randy,
I think this is the place that was suggested for a forum.
How about we set a time and date to see how well a discussion would work here? Can you e-mail everyone?
I suggest Wednesday, March 11, from 9 to 10 p.m.

Yes, you found it! I emailed you and Howard more about your request, but in short, we can start a discussion here and now, and fill it in as people come and go each day, an 'asynchronous' discussion, which would work well for people with widely varying schedules.
We will see how next wednesday's program goes. If it does work out then I know of another site that we can use. My mentor has been using it and I have been with him.

You're right about the value of "asynchronous" discussion. Maybe an hour is too long a time frame for a virtual "meeting." I thought it might be a good idea to get everyone together for a time.
At the least, those who are not familiar with this forum might make a special effort to log on and become familiar with it if we set a time and invited everyone to "show up," so to speak.
If anyone's checking, my daughter came over and I'm a bit late signing on. I'll check back in a few minutes.
I got sidetracked and couldn't get to the computer until way later. Oops!
