Hey everyone,

I am looking for some one to pick me up at the Cincinnati airport on Friday April 3 at 11:17 am and bring me to the orienteering on friday. Then I also need a ride to my hotel, the Baymont Inn & Suites in Cincinnati, friday night and then to the orienteering on friday morning. I have already arranged myself rides for the rest of the weekend.

Please let me know if you would like to help.

Hi Carl, I live only 15min from the Cincinnati airport (CVG). I'll be helping out at the meet on Friday, but at present don't have a schedule for when I need to be there. If you don't find anyone who arrive at CVG around the same time as you on Friday, I'll be happy to pick you up.

My offer is good for others in a similar situation as well. My car can fit up to 5 (including myself).

There's actually a very good transit system available, both from the airport, and to each day of the event. Transit instructions have been published on the event site and will soon be updated with the following airport transit details:

...arrange transit from/to the Airport, which is actually in Kentucky. Go to <http://www.tankbus.org/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=x...> to download the Airport Express (Bus #2X) schedule. Then go to <http://www.tankbus.org/> to download a transit map for the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK). The #2X bus picks up a several points at the airport, and runs to downtown Cincinnati in about 30 minutes. It costs $1.50 and runs every 45 - 60 minutes on weekdays, and at 75 minute intervals or more on Sunday....

Depending on your arrival time, it should take less than two hours, on two connecting buses, to get from the airport to the meet on Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, there are no evening or weekend buses that serve the remote Baymont location in Sharonville, so once you get to the Friday meet, you'll have to find a ride.

Carl, I think you made a mistake in your posting in that you need rides from the airport to the friday meet site, then from there to your hotel, the Baymont, and then SATURDAY morning to the meet site and you have rides from then on.

Correct???

Oh ya, thank for pointing that out. It doesn't make much sense the way I put it.

So, at this point, Gerald, I think it would be best if you could pick me up at the airport, if you can. Also, would you be able to bring me to my hotel on friday night and to the orienteering on saturday* morning?

Carl, Gerald lives in northern Kentucky, so I think the hotel you chose is in the wrong direction for him. But we should have other event workers going that direction.
