We're all looking forward to a week of ski orienteering in the fabulous cross-country ski areas around north Lake Tahoe.
Discounted rates for the Sierra Avalanche Ski-Orienteering Week will no longer be available after next Friday, January 16.
At this point the roads are all open and clear. The weather forecast is for bright sunny days and clear cold nights. Several of us have rented ski houses very close to the ski areas, and extra space is still available at a reasonable cost.
