Last year's NTOA "A" event has now ripened and even over-ripened to the point that it has fallen off the chili plant, even though the plant was staked stoutly so that it would not swing in the wind. There were not many alterings, as it was not a ranked race for pepperinas (too few peppers), and it just didn't shake up the pepperino crowd all that much.

But you can sample the full boogie pepperness for yourself at: http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Stadium/7418/al...

It seems my extended absence from North America (and from any country where orienteering takes place) has finally caught up with me, as I have finally fallen off this rankings list. I thought I hand't seen enough chili peppers in Venezuela!

Wow, I thought you were kidding when I saw your location listed as Venezuela - just like Swisscheese had listed Burkina Faso for a while... Is there any O at all in Venezuela??

Rumour has it that there was once an event a few years ago. There is a website here but (if you can read Spanish) you can see that all of the events are in the past, and none are particularly local.

Wow, when the most recent listed event is in 2003, you know you're in trouble...

And it was in Argentina, which isn't exactly close!
