ACL injuries affect women disproportionately. A friend just sent me a set of exercises that have reduced ACL tears in women by about 90% (Experiment done on 1,200 D1 soccer athletes). I thought I'd share this for all of the athletes out there who orienteer... and may also play some field sports.

Thanks for posting this Suzanne. I haven't had ACL tears, but have had other knee problems. I hope your problems get better and you're back to running/orienteering soon!
