The Saeger/Karpinski/Smith group has some problem with their travel plans. One of us cannot leave until 8am Friday, but others would like to go part way on Thursday night.
Anyone leaving Thursday night (we were thinking of a motel in the Albany area)? Anyone leaving Friday with hopes of getting to the Sprint on time? Travel time from Boston to Sprint is about 5 hours.
We could do this with 2 cars, but would hope to hitch with some one else on either day.

I know Dasha and possibly Catherine Olsson were hoping to leave Friday, but they weren't planning to make the sprint.

I just booked Thursday night here:
Rodeway Inn (NY386)
1600 Central Ave , Albany, NY, US, 12205
Phone: (518) 456-8982
It's just off the highway where I-90 joins the NYT. Figure it should be 2 hours from there to the sprints?

I'm pretty sure it's about 2-1/2 hours from Albany; maps.google gives that time for various routes, whether you get off in Canastota (exit 34) or I-481 (exit 34A) which is beyond Green Lakes and requires doubling back.

I will *not* be coming to NAOC, sorry about the confusion. My shins need the break before the NEOC A-meet in October.

Late arrival to this conversation -- my plan is to leave Thurs after work and drive to Albany area (I hope: I'm bringing my car in for service on Thurs and I hope the mechanic will pronounce it fit!) Anyway, it would be nice to coordinate with others doing the same.
