Sorry to hear that kind of organizing. And these results affect to Finnish ranking list that defines starting times after 2 weeks when Fin championships takes place... :(

BTW, there were excellent local o-happening in north part of Iitti on sunday. Fantastic terrain and delicious makkaras. No inappropriate DQ's. Nice weather. Map was made by Toivo Ryyppö and it was great.

Right, my bad. Iitti was my choice last year and will be next year too for sure.

You punch best you can and get all punch marks but you still get disqualified because some feel like discualifying. I hate when that happens - and even more when it happens to me.

We had a case of DQ yesterday (with SI, of course) when the 2nd place runner in D21E didn´t have a punch from the last control. She said she had punched twice and thought she heard the signal the second time and kept going.
We tried to find out what was wrong - since we (against the rules) collected the SI units and checked them for Error codes (=not complete punch) but found no trace of her SI card.
We had two SI units at the control and we noticed only one other runner that had tried to punch without success (getting an Error code in the unit) but punched the other instead.
The actual controls and the SI card worked just fine when we tried to simulate punching as we tried to find out what was wrong...
Well, she was DQ´d after all, but at least we tried!
