Hammer:
Having recently read Spike's Blog (and like JJ I don't have my own) and having recently watched High Fidelity with Sudden I list my "Top 5 Fave Races of 2003":

1) US Team Trials. My favourite area to race in the World with a mix of formats and the relay win to top it off was...Sweet!
2) SVO "A" Meet. Great variety of terrain and courses between short and long. Best prize of the year (thanks again Eddie).
3) GLOF 3-day. OK I'm biased but the terrain, courses, US vs. Canada sprint and weather were awesome. And I should have bet on Sergey in the sprint (who in my opinion is North America's top orienteering talent)!
4) The Eliminator. OK, another GHO event but a new map and more climbing in 90 minutes than SVO had to offer in 2 days! Or at least it felt that way. Great courses by Mark Adams.
5) US Short & Long Champs. Any time you can do three races in 24 hours ranging from 8 to 110 minutes in length - has got to be fun.

Thanks to all the event directors and volunteers!
They were lots of fun.

And, Vlad is lurking with the worst and the ugly... 5 for 5 for Hammer's list, though.
