Discussion: Orienteering in Galway - Ireland

Hi I'm an Aussie that's going to be in Ireland for the next month from the 13th. I would love to try some Orienteering while i'm over there. It'd be dependant on my work schedule, but is there anyone that can suggest what events are on during May and June near Galway?

The 3 day event in Galway at the end of May should be excellent.

you definately want to go to the 3 day on inishbofin, itll be the best event in ireland this year.

My dad was showing me the maps at the weekend and it looks fantastic - he's popping in on his walk from York to Athens (don't ask)!

It does sounds awesome, i'm not sure that i will be able to take that much time off, but i'm going to try very hard too...
