The final three races in the North American Orienteering League will take place on October 11-13 (www.dontgetlost.ca/glof). Pam James has clinched the women's title but the men's title is still up for grabs. Brian May leads with Eric Bone in 2nd. In the team competition, the US leads but with the final three races in Canada look for the hosts to make it close overall. Predictions for the NAOL weekend, and NAOL overall anybody?

Feling lucky with your predictions? Well with a $10 (CAD) or $7.50 (USD) donation to the Canadian Team you can choose the winner of the Axis Gear Sprint that will take place on October 11th. The sprint includes Brian May, Pam James, Nick Duca, Katarina Smith, Mihai Veres, Ted de St. Croix, Sergei Zhyk, Erin Olafsen and many others. Win up to $500 (CAD)! Details on how to play (and donate) and a list of all participants are at: www.dontgetlost.ca/glof/sprint.htm

I'm sure the team competition will tighten up enormously but the Americans going to GLOF are capable of earning the necessary points. There just won't be enough of them, particularly women, to afford many (any?) bad performances. Leaving a lot hanging on how well Erin, Sergei, Will and Boris can recover from the Highlander. And Brian from his marathon.
