I'm looking for a new pair of reasonably priced MTB shoes ($200 is way out of my price range). I've tried on the latest from Pearl Izumi, but they're all ridiculously narrow. My foot's wider than average, but not that much so.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance....

I had some Lake mtb shoes that are great for adventure racing (good for hike a bike). They seemed wide. They were quite inexpensive. I found these on the Lake website and they come in wide. Mine were a cheaper model (~$60)http://www.lakecycling.com/ProductInfo.aspx?produc...

Try Performance Bike. They generally have good gear.

I have a pair of addidas marathon shoes. got them on sale for 80. I have wide feet and they fit nice. pretty lightweight. I also prefer the velcro straps to the buckle type.

Specialized shoes run wide - or at least wider than most European cycling shoes. I wear the BG Comp which fits my E-width foot quite well. The BG Sport is cheaper and actually better for Adventure Racing since you can get it on and off faster (no latching buckle).
