...actually, I misspoke and should have checked with the organizers. Due to capacity limits and trying to sync up with the Western Canadian Orienteering Championships June 2nd, I believe registration will initially be limited to members of Western Canadian clubs before being opened to the wider community. The event website should be updated soon.

I hope to make WCOC/Western Canadian Orienteering Championships in early June but I fail to see the sync between WCOC and FWOC Western Spring Training Camp because the dates are basically 2 weeks apart. I.e. they don't combine into a single trip.
I do see the concept of using the FWOC Western Spring Training Camp as a warmup for the WCOC if that is what you mean by sync up. But that only works if you make two trips, one to each event.
Nevertheless, it's exciting to see a couple of high quality western events.

I guess one way to do it is to get a club membership of a Western Canadian club?

It's great to see the interest and I am sure the organizers would love to welcome everyone if they could. I believe that one of the biggest constraints is volunteer coaching availability. You can reach out to Bogi from AOA via the email on the event site if you have any questions or suggestions.
